Yes, we finally decided to get married!!
Carl and I met in August of 2000. I guess you could say that we met through a friend of a friend. We hit it off right from the beginning. We just want to share with you some of the highlights of our lives together so far. In December of 2000, we had a pretty big announcement. We were going to have a baby!!! Ethan was born on September 16, 2001. Then in August of 2003, we had another big announcement.... we were going to have another little boy!!! Christian was born on May 12, 2004. These were the best days of our lives together. In August of 2005, Carl and I purchased our first home! Our future plans are just spending time with each other and our boys. Waiting for what the future may hold!

We decided to have a destination wedding in Negril, Jamaica at Beaches Resort. We chose this resort because it is a very laid back resort and it’s an all inclusive! We didn’t want to go the traditional wedding route; we wanted something unique and different. We will be celebrating our wedding and honeymoon all in one. We are going to be married on Friday October 10, 2008 at 2:00pm. We haven’t decided on if we want to get married by the beach or in one of the resorts lush tropical gardens. Upon arriving at the resort we will meet with our wedding planner and chose our location. The dress will be casual. Carl will be wearing a white button up shirt with khaki shorts and flip flops. I will be wearing a simple, white ankle length gown with flip flops as well. We are trying to keep everything simple and fun!!

Following our wedding we will be having Champaign and hor’sdouvres. After the Champaign we will be cutting our first cake together as husband and wife. At 5:00 in the evening we will be having dinner at one of the resorts fine dining restaurants.

Carl and I will be leaving on Wednesday October8th early in the morning and returning back to our home on Sunday, October 12th in the afternoon. We will be leaving from the Baltimore Airport and flying Air Jamaica. We chose Air Jamaica because they are a straight flight, there are no layovers. All of our travel arrangements were made with our travel agent Lorrie Hillard. She has helped us so much already; she made it so easy for us. She helped take away one of the biggest stresses of planning a destination wedding.

We would love for each and every one of you to share this special day with us. Nothing would excite us more than to have all of our friends and family share in this special time with us.
